Honestly, this spot had some DAMN good food. It’s funny cause it seems that all of the “GOOD” food spots found in the city usually have somewhat of a grunge look (at least the Bathroom and Kitchen did O_o). Well..that never stopped anyone from going, infact! from what it seemed they were pretty busy especially with NYU dorms a few blocks up, i mean this had to be a college students dream to eat a fairly priced greasy burger right? Although i’ve only been there a handful of times i must say, if i found myself in that area i made it my business to stop and get a nice Vegetarian burger with fries #Yummay!. One fun thing to mention was the chalk and place mat they had at all the tables for people to draw and for some lucky folks it got placed on ” The Wall of Art”. Check out the review below i found on Menupages.com smh now you see how UNHAPPY the customers are with the new owners and name change… we might have to give this one TWO THUMBS DOWN!

“Went there today because I was in the mood for a greasy vegan brunch with sangria. I noticed that the sign outside was gone and found that the menus now call the place “14 Carrot’s.” Strike one for misuse of an apostrophe. I was glad to see that the brunch menu still existed, with all the usual fare, so I ordered a Slumberjack Breakfast with the extra $ for coffee and sangria. Strike two: the new owners don’t have a license for alcohol yet, so I was offered “fresh” juice instead. Strike three: the OJ was by no means fresh. Tasted straight from the carton. Since we’re already at three strikes, I’ll just hurry on and note that my partner’s artichoke frittata had nary and artichoke in sight, the garlic knots it was supposed to come with were actually dry toast, and the carrot ginger dressing tasted only of carrot. My dish was good, but there were just too many negatives to warrant heading back here.”
