The Xbox 360 Slim($300) is anncouned, the new Xbox is slimmer and in an all new black gloss finish, features built in Wi-Fi(finally!), a  250GB hard drive, wireless controller, headset, and one of those Kinect-friendly auxiliary ports.

Nintendo has annouced its new portable hardware, the Nintendo 3DS($TBA). It will allow users to play 3D games without the need for special glasses, they claim that the 3DS will achieve naked eye 3D by using a parallax barrier technique. It is smaller than the DSi LL, is compatible with Nintendo DSi, which includes a top screen is 3.5 inches and a 3-inch bottom screen, motion sensor, and Wi-Fi. According to Nintendo, the product will go on sale between April 2010 and March 2011.

Made from durable PVC it weighs about 66 pounds when empty and can be setup with the assistance of a standard air compressor in about 5 minutes. Mesh covered holes allow the Magic Swim to fill with water once it’s deployed, but also keep unwanted visitors out, and a semi-rigid floating platform in the center of the pool allows you to stand once it’s completely filled with water. ~$2,250 for the large version, and ~$2,440 for the extra-large one.

the battery life was a specific focus of this device, lasting over 15 days on a single charge. the unit can
hold 100 titles on the built-in storage and another 8000 with an optional microsd card. the opus colour
also has an integrated accelerometer for purposes unknown to us. best of all the device has a lower price
than its predecessor and comes preloaded with over 100 books.
